One crazy ride

With Diet Dr. Pepper in hand I begin the journey of the update since March.

Welcome to the Krystal Coaster.... Please keep your hands and feet inside the ride at all times and remain seated until the ride comes to a complete stop.

Okay in March like I said earlier I had my Praxis test which I found out that I passed and I am now a level 2 teacher!! YEAH!!! I moved in with Ashly and Kimball, which was very fun.

Next, I went to the REBA and George Strait concert and had an absolute blast watching a bunch of drunks try to climb the stairs to the nose bleed section. Great Fun!! Loved the concert and would love to see Reba again. I just love that lady, I think she is so down to earth and yet is famous!! Way to go Reba!!

May school was coming to an end, and I decide to go back to school and get my reading endorsement. So for the next two years I will be taking classes and teaching. I think that I am crazy. Yes you may agree with me.

June, now that is one month that started and ended in the same week. I finished my class for the summer and I had to read 8 chapter books and 10 - 15 picture books in 5 weeks. Most of May and June were spent reading children's books. I loved it but I like to enjoy the books a bit more normally. After my class I moved back down to my parent's house for the summer.

I quickly became the farm hand, I love spending time out on the farm. My dad and I hauled 4 trailers of hay, so that the cows will survive the winter. PS can I just say that the San-pitch River was a river this year. I have never seen that river/creek that full in June. It was over the banks. Crazy, due to the insanely large amounts of moisture, the mosquito population was thriving at the farm. I had many bites to prove this. Luckily, no we senile virus to go with it. With hay hauled and ready for winter, I turned to planting the garden. It was late but I quickly planted with wishful hopes of something nice to eat, and some pumpkins to carve. (garden update: not much to speak off. I think it will freeze before I get much. I may have a few pumpkins to sell in my pumpkin patch).

Next, came July we went to Scofield for the 4th, we camped up by Winter Quarters and watched the parade and had a blast at the craft fair. I got a very cute hat. Life was good. We even did a little fishing and caught a few fish. My friends little girl wanted to eat my pink marshmallows an did not understand why only fish got pink (garlic flavored) marshmallows. I know I am so mean. However, her mother was very happy with me. :) The following weekend was Oaklie's first birthday, where she absolutely loved all the attention. She is so fu
nny, we went to the pool and her and Kayden loved the water. So much fun.

The following week all life stopped, yes that is right LAMB DAY week started. I was so excited to play softball. Monday night I went with Tara and her family to the community theater, and laughed so hard my side hurt. It was the funniest thing ever. On Tuesday, I played softball. My team lost however we had a blast playing. On Wednesday, morning when I woke up my left foot hurt and I could not put any weight on it. I finally got into the Dr. and they looked at last years X-rays and said you have bone spurs in your heel. (no wonder my foot has hurt for a year now!!) They gave me a cortisone shot. Which killed and just about put me in tears. Told me not to play softball that day and sent me home for rest. Thursday, I played softball again and did pretty good considering. I had a runner which I have never done in my life and it kind of hurt my pride to have one. But I really wanted to play Saturday so I did it any way. Friday, we went to the Ute Stamped Rodeo. Which is always a lot of fun!! Saturday came and we attended the Parade, and all other Lamb Day festivities. That night I played softball and as I rounded second on my way to third (not sure what happened, I think my good leg gave out) I sort of did a slide/fall and landed on my right hip and cut up my leg. It has left a pretty nice scare. Luckily that was towards the end of the game. I am really starting to think I am getting old. That was the wonderful LAMB DAY week.

The following week was the 24th and then we went to Lake Powell which is always a blast. Kayden learned to swim in his life jacket. He really does kick and move his arms so cute. Oaklie was not a fan of being on her back in the water. She loved the boat and all was well.

August, okay I know July was crazy but just wait for August.

First of the month I go to the Podiatrist like a good little girl listening to the previous Dr. I go in on the 2nd and he says WOW those are some large bone spurs. You have two options try different orthotics or Surgery. I have tried the other for the last year so I chose surgery. I said I am a teacher so will that be a problem. Because school starts in two weeks. He scheduled my surgery for Friday the 5th. So in between there I tried to get my new classroom together. I am at the same school just a new classroom. On Friday I went in and came out with a green and pink striped cast. Now a month later I am completely ready to have it off. I went camping in a cast, fishing, started school, moved into a new apartment, attended a demolition derby, and many other activities, I'm pretty sure I should not have done.

The cast comes off on the 12th and it might not be soon enough.

Thank you for riding the Krystal Coaster, please come back for new adventures.... because they are sure to come. They always do. Life is great and it is the adventures that make it fun. So enjoy them. See ya again soon. :)
