Okay, I know I have not been very diligent about posting on here. My new goal for March is to do a weekly post on here. There have been so many things I have been blessed with, I want to keep track of them and all the wonderful things I do in my next thirty years. Some of you may know that in September I tuned the big 30. I was a little nervous to hit this milestone. However, I have found that it has actually made me more determined to set goals and accomplish them. I am excited for the adventures that are to come in my next 30 years. Well, since then I have had my gallbladder removed over Christmas break, started my last class in my reading endorsement and began saving my money for a trip to Europe, oh and one more thing began training for a half-marathon. I also changed wards and I now go to a family ward. That is fun!! I am so excited for my next 30 years.
Nobody wanted me to forget I was 30, so I had many cakes. My roommate gave me the 30 doughnut.
My parents brought this one to my school to share.
This is a cookie cake from Becky
and this is my older than dirt cake from my family
Okay, so this last week or two have been crazy busy but so much fun.
Last weekend, (Feb. 16th) I went to the MONSTER TRUCK JAM, in Salt
Lake. It was so fun to see Kayden get excited about the trucks.
This weekend I had the opportunity to go to St. George to an art conference. It was a very interesting experience. I learned a lot about art and how I can use it better in my classroom. My mom came down and stayed with me. She convinced me to go to Mesquite with her. So, we went down and I played the slot machines. I can now say I have gambled but I have no desire to do it again. Chalk that one up to experience, I can say I've done it. So here it starts, the adventures of my next thirty years!!!
